In a bifurcated trial a jury returned a verdict of guilty to second degree burglary and thereafter the same jury found the appellant to be an habitual criminal. The court rendered judgment on the verdicts and sentenced the appellant to two to five years imprisonment for burglary and to life imprisonment on the habitual criminal conviction.
